Also, I think I should learn to sew and start recreating things I see the kids wear. They have awesome shirts that their relatives in China send them and I’m always jealous.

A preschooler today had an amazing sweatshirt today. It was a slightly desaturated medium green with stripey green and white sleeves and red cord-ish shoulder patches. The front had embroidered monkeys, and it had a drawstring waist. I want it.

Also, one of my students was punching the air going, “douch-BAG douche-BAG douche-BAG”. I asked him what that word was, and he said it was the sound effect of somebody getting punched in the stomach. I had to tell him that it actually meant something else and that he shouldn’t say that at school… but secretly it was the best part of my day.
